LI: I am learning to summarise the important ideas and events in fiction and nonfiction texts. SC: I can use a graphic organiser to help me organise my thoughts to summarise. I can tell what happened/the important ideas and information in order. I can include relevant text features in a well-organised summary. I can use my own words (paraphrase) to write a summary of the main events/important ideas and information, in sequence.
