Student Instructions

The sound /ae/ has many different spellings, including 'a_e', 'a', 'ai' and 'ay.' 1. Look at and read over all the words at the bottom of the page. Try to notice the sound/spelling patterns as you read and say the words. 2. Use the move tool to drag each word into the correct box for its sound/spelling, either under 'a_e', 'a', 'ai' or 'ay.' You can check your work as you go. 3. Finish dragging all the words into boxes until you have gotten them all correct. There should be 4 words in each box when you are done. 4. Use the voice frame to record yourself reading all the words on the page. 5. Click the green check-mark to submit your work when finished.
