This activity follows on from the All about Materials - lesson 1. If you have not completed that task please go back and complete it first.
In this unit we will be investigating the properties of materials and how the choice of different materials is important when we design objects that we use. In this task we are going to learn more about the properties of materials around our home environment.
1. Click on the

2. Read slides 2-5
3. On slides 6-9 slides there is a property with its definition. You will need to find an object in your house that matches that property and explain why it is important for that object to have that property.
4. Slide 10 is a challenge activity.
4. Work through the slides in this activity using the 
tool or the 
tool to add in your thinking.
3. When you have completed the activity click on the 
to save to your journal and send to your teacher.
Remember you can always click on the 
if you are not finished and want to save your work to come back to it.
