Sleigh Goals: Learning Objectives 🎅🏼By the end of this activity, students will be able to: Creative Design: Design and plan an oversized Christmas decoration using primarily recycled cardboard and materials. Construction: Apply structural techniques (tabs, slots, bracing) to build a stable 3D object. Recycling: Identify and utilize various recycled materials effectively in their design. Digital Diary: Systematically document the construction process using photos and text captions on Seesaw, creating a visual step-by-step diary. Santa's Workshop Supply List (Materials) 🧌The Elf's Guide to Creation (Procedure) The entire process must be documented on Seesaw as a Construction Diary with a minimum of five separate photo entries.

Material Use Utilized cardboard creatively and incorporated at least two other recycled materials. 😥Naughty List (Needs Improvement) Decoration is unstable, parts are loose, or relies too heavily on tape/minimal glue. Material Use Decoration used primarily new materials or recycled items were not integrated well. Documentation Five separate diary entries are present, each with a photo and a descriptive, relevant caption about the process. Aesthetics Decoration is fully painted/covered and clearly resembles the chosen Christmas item. Decoration is unfinished, messy, or the colours/details are not complete.
