Teachers, save “Who is the main character?” to assign it to your class.

What do the words and pictures tell you about the main characters traits? What traits can you see (outside traits- hair colour, size, skin colour, eye colour/shape, clothes et.)? what can you infer? (Inside traits- what does the character feel, do, etc) Can you make connections between what the author/illustrator tells us and your knowledge? E.g. the character say’s “g’day mate thus must be from Australia
