Measurement with Non-standard Units

Grades: 2nd Grade, 1st Grade
Subjects: Math
Standards: Use appropriate tools strategically. (Math Practice 5:), Generate measurement data by measuring lengths of several objects to the nearest whole unit, or by making repeated measurements of the same object. Show the measurements by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in whole-number units. (M.2.MD.D.9.)

Student Instructions

1. Read the directions on page 1. 2. On pages 2-6, look at the picture. Count by tens for the green ten strips and count by ones for the yellow cubes. 3. Add the total amount of tens and ones together. 4. Type your final answer into the provided frame on each page. 5. Check over your answers on all pages. When finished, click the green check-mark to submit.
