For the paragraph question, a high-quality answer explains why Beth shared a snack and mentions details from the story (e.g., Beth sitting on the grass, sharing with pets, or the pets' reactions). For the multimedia Show It, look for responses that clearly show a pet (photo, drawing, or video) and a short explanation (voice or text) that connects to the passage — for example, describing how the chick pecks or how a sloth munches slowly. Teachers can mark responses as correct if students connect their ideas to the text and show clear effort and relevant details.
